1. Scope
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to everything you upload to Scrivio and everything you do with the service.
2. Prohibited content
Do not upload: material that is unlawful where you are or where we are; child sexual abuse material of any kind; material that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights; material obtained by unlawful interception or covert recording where that is illegal; or material intended to harass, threaten or defame a person.
3. Consent and recording law
The people speaking in a recording usually have not agreed to anything with us, and in many jurisdictions recording a conversation requires the consent of everyone in it. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to do so and have obtained whatever consent or given whatever notice applies. This is your responsibility. We cannot verify it and do not attempt to.
4. No attacks on the service
Do not attempt to access another account or another person's data; probe, scan or test our defences; interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on; or use automated means to create accounts, evade limits or extract data in bulk.
5. Fair use of the free plan
The free plan is a genuine monthly budget, not an invitation to create many accounts to multiply it. Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent limits, resell access, or use Scrivio as a backend for another service without agreeing that with us first.
6. What happens if you breach this
We may remove content, suspend or terminate the account, and where the law requires it, report the matter to the competent authorities. For serious or unlawful misuse we will act immediately and without notice. Otherwise we will normally contact you first.
7. Reporting a violation
Use the address on the Contact page. Include enough detail for us to identify the content or account concerned. We treat reports of illegal material as urgent.
